At Flickr,
Add a photo to your Flickr stream. Click on it. There will be a "share" arrow at the bottom right, sort of curved to the right. Click on that arrow.
A window will pop up with a URL highlighted. RIGHT click and chose "copy".
Start a post here. When you want to post your photo, RIGHT click again and chose "paste".
The URL will show up, but not the photo. When you post, it will be a photo.
Hope this helps.
PS: Don't try this from an album. It must be from your stream...

It's destroying me that I can't make this work. I've tried it with every device I own. Even my wife's desktop that she does all her twitbook and facegrams with. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'll keep trying till I figure it out. Flickr hates me. I can't get signed in because its connected with Yahoo and Yahoo says I have an account with them that I can't access any longer. Any other photo sharing services work to share pics on here?

OK, I'm going to post a photo from Flickr and list my exact steps. First, sign into your account. A person can always re-join with a different email address, like gmail, live, etc. Choose a user name and email account, then join Flickr.
1. Click on a photo in your Photostream. (NOT in an album, the photostream only) 2. At the bottom right, there is a swishy arrow pointing to the right. (it is 3rd from the left) If you hover over it, it says "share photo". 3. Click on the arrow. A box will pop up saying Share 1 photo at the top. Be sure that the word EMBED is underlined at the top of the box. There is also a highlighted strip in the box. 4. RIGHT click on the strip and choose "copy". 5. Return to your post here and Right click again and choose "paste". Or CTRL V will paste for you. There will be a bunch of gobble stuff from Flickr. (no photo) 6. Click Post Quick Reply

Click Post Quick Reply I did a slight variation and that might be what will help others that are experiencing difficulty's posting pictures using flickr I did everything you said in the tutorial with the exception of step #4 ( I used EMBED instead of SHARE ) everything else was the same. Thanks Danny! I forgot to mention that my box already had "embed" underlined.
When the box pops up, make sure EMBED is underlined.

Thank you for the tutorial and the recommendation of Flickr. I downloaded their app as I primarily use a mobile device. I don't see the same options of embedding a URL, however I was able to post a Flickr link that takes you directly to the picture. Is there another way around this using my iPhone or iPad? I haven't found it yet.

Used the flickr to upload my pics, but even though I can copy several of those url #, I can only paste one at a time. Am I doing something wrong? Love this website. Thanks for any help
